Winemaker's Notes
The name Tauzinat derives from the tauzin species of oak trees, famous for the truffles that grow at their feet. Purchased by the Moueix family in 1953, the vineyard was planted as early as 1670 and produces a well-regarded wine, awarded a silver medal by the international jury at the 1889 World's Fair. Since 2014, the château has held ISO 14001 environmental management certification.

Tasting Notes
Deep and intense garnet color, with a well-defined bouquet of blackberry and red cherry and a pleasant leafiness. Medium-bodied with crisp tannins, bright blackberry and raspberry fruit and melted oak, leading to a harmonious, elegant finish – a well-crafted Saint-Émilion.
