Winemaker's Notes
Peter Mertes was founded in 1924 by Peter Mertes and has been based since 1969 in Bernkastel-Kues, a thousand-year-old town on the Mosel. Four generations later, the family house has become one of Germany's largest wine producers, exporting to some 70 countries. Kabinett is the lightest and most delicate level of Germany's Prädikat wines.
